Celebrating the 75th Independence of Pakistan at SHMA

Pakistan Independence Day, which is annually held on the 14th of August, celebrates the country’s independence in 1947. The day is a national holiday in Pakistan and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and a patriotic spirit all over the country. 

There are many reasons why the Independence Day celebration is important for Pakistanis. Firstly, it is a reminder of how far the country has come since its inception. It was not an easy road to freedom and many sacrifices were made by our forefathers to achieve it. Every Pakistani should be proud of this fact and remember the brave souls who fought for our independence. 

Secondly, the Independence Day celebration instills a sense of patriotism in every Pakistani. It reminds us of how blessed we are to live in an independent country and motivates us to work hard for its development and progress. We should all strive to make Pakistan a better place so that future generations can enjoy the fruits of our labor. 

The SHMA team celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day with enthusiasm and joy. All employees were asked to dress in green and white, the colors of the country’s flag, and sing the national anthem together. 

A few games and activities were planned to encourage team building and employee interaction with management and peers. “Guess the Tune?” and “Dumb Charades” were popular choices, and INS-2 took a lead in the games by winning both rounds. 

A delicious cake, made in the colors of the flag, was cut by the management, and employees were treated to snacks and refreshments. The laughter, joy, and community bonding at the office were appreciated by all employees and reflected in their participation.

Lastly, Independence Day provides an opportunity for all Pakistanis to unite as one nation regardless of their differences. It is a time when we put aside our differences and come together to celebrate our common heritage and love for our homeland. We should use this occasion to reaffirm our commitment to work together for a bright future for Pakistan
